George Kee (1930-1980) is known to be one of the most exceptional Navajo silversmiths of his time. Along with his two brothers, Allen and Ivan, and his cousin, the groundbreaking Navajo silversmith Kenneth Begay, the group produced their famous jewelry at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, Arizona the 1950s and 1960s.
George Kees pieces are a unique set in Navajo jewelry history and are highly valuable today.
This is a Southwest Navajo design sterling silver feather ring with a raw turquoise stone and a bone piece, made my George Kee.
Measured on a ring sizer, US size 5.
4mm wide and 2mm thick curved band at the back.
The ring face measures 23mm high and 16mm wide.
The turquoise stone and bone piece are 5mm.
7.3 grams total weight.
Some tarnish to the silver.
