Miriam Haskell was a famous American jewelry designer, designing from the 1920s through to the 1950s with partner Frank Hess.  She was known for her beautifully intricate hand made pieces that were loved by the stars yet affordable for most to enjoy. Some of the most collectable are her hand wired filigree layered pieces and her faux baroque pearl jewelry.

Miriam Haskell’s jewelry and company went on strong into the 1980s run by her brother Joseph Haskell, and is still in operation today.  Her earliest designs have truly stood the test of time and remain highly sought after and collectible.

This necklace is a long strand of barrel shaped baroque pearl clusters, round and barrel pearls, and embellished with gold tone and clear rhinestones.
Flower shaped push box closure clasp.

The necklace measures 29" long, 29.5" with the clasp.
The barrel bead pearls are approximately 15mm long and the round pearls are approximately 6mm long.

Some very minor wear on some of the tiny gold bead spacers.

Signed on the back of the clasp, MIRIAM HASKELL.
