William DeLizza and Harold Elster founded their jewelry company in 1947 in New York City, and were later joined by William’s son’s Frank and Anthony. DeLizza and Elster were known for creating jewelry for some high end jewelry companies including Weiss, Alice Caviness, Hattie Carnegie and others.
In the 1960s they produced their own costume jewelry line Juliana, which became known and loved for the original and bold statement pieces in glass cabochons and rhinestones. Incredibly designed, Julian by D & E pieces remain highly sought after and loved today.
Thought to be from the Fantasia jewelry collection, this is a large art deco design chandelier style brooch.
A cluster of oval cut topaz stones surrounded by accent round cut green stones and five dangling lines of green stones.
This brooch has a beautiful sparkle in the light.
The three oval topaz stones are open back.
The brooch measures 4" high and 2" wide.
The largest center stone is 40mm long and 30mm high.
The smallest green stones are 4mm diameter.
44 grams weight.
Some minor wear to the gold finish on the back. Very minor wear to the stones.
Pin in slightly longer than the C clasp.
