William DeLizza and Harold Elster founded their jewelry company in 1947 in New York City, and were later joined by William’s son’s Frank and Anthony. DeLizza and Elster were known for creating jewelry for some high end jewelry companies including Weiss, Alice Caviness, Hattie Carnegie and others.
In the 1960s they produced their own costume jewelry line Juliana, which became known and loved for the original and bold statement pieces in glass cabochons and rhinestones. Incredibly designed, Julian by D & E pieces remain highly sought after and loved today.
